Template Refund Policy

PixelSunset's cause-based refund process covers requests submitted within 14 days for duplicate orders, delivery failure, or a material product defect we cannot cure—subject to non-waivable rights and the independent authority of Stripe's Managed Payments merchant of record.

Effective date: July 29, 2026

Request window

Submit an eligible request within 14 calendar days after purchase by emailing hello@pixelsunset.com from the order email address. Include the Stripe Managed Payments order or receipt reference, the purchased template, the reason for the request, and any evidence reasonably needed to verify the issue. We target an initial response within two business days.

Eligible reasons

  • Duplicate purchase. The same purchaser was charged more than once for the same intended license.
  • Delivery failure. A verified purchaser cannot obtain the promised buyer guide or Remix delivery link after reasonable re-delivery and access troubleshooting.
  • Uncured material defect. A reproducible defect in the substantially unmodified delivered template prevents a documented core function or makes the product materially different from its description, and PixelSunset cannot repair, replace, or provide a reasonable workaround after a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

Normally not eligible

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the following do not ordinarily qualify for a refund:

  • A change of mind, subjective design preference, client cancellation, or decision not to use the template.
  • Failure to inspect the public demo, product boundaries, compatibility information, or stated Framer account and plan requirements before purchase.
  • Lack of Framer experience or a request for custom design, installation, content, training, or integration work that was not included in the product.
  • Problems caused by buyer modifications, deleted content, unsupported code, incompatible plugins, account restrictions, or third-party outages and changes outside the delivered template.
  • Missing functionality that the product page expressly identified as excluded, including confirmed appointment logic, a connected CRM or scheduler, payments, customer accounts, or business-results guarantees.
  • Unauthorized sharing, redistribution, multi-site use, or another breach of the Template License.

Investigation and cure

For delivery and defect claims, PixelSunset must have a reasonable opportunity to verify the order, reproduce the issue, restore access, and provide a fix, replacement, corrected file, or practical workaround. We may request the product version, reproduction steps, screenshots, or access to a safe non-production duplicate. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details, real customer, client, patient, or service records, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

How approved refunds are processed

Stripe's affiliate Sold Through Link, LLC acts as merchant of record for Stripe Managed Payments purchases. PixelSunset reviews product and delivery issues under this policy and may request that Stripe or Sold Through Link issue a full or partial refund for an eligible order. Stripe or Sold Through Link may also decline, cancel, reverse, or refund a transaction independently where permitted by its terms, payment-method rules, risk controls, or applicable law, including when its refund policy is more permissive than this cause-based policy. Stripe's Consumer Terms (opens in a new tab) and its Managed Payments refund policy (opens in a new tab) apply to those transaction decisions. An approved refund is normally returned to the original payment method; posting time depends on Stripe, the payment method, and the purchaser's financial institution.

Effect of a full refund

A full refund ends the associated Template License. The purchaser and client must stop using the template, remove any published website derived from it, and delete the buyer guide, delivery files, Remix copies, and other distributable source copies.

Mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or replaces a refund, withdrawal right, warranty, remedy, or other consumer protection that cannot lawfully be waived. Stripe's Consumer Terms, the Managed Payments refund policy, payment-method rules, and applicable law also govern the transaction and control to the extent they require or permit a remedy that is unavailable under PixelSunset's cause-based policy.
