Accessibility

Craft that excludes people is not craft. We build this site, and every client site, to be usable by as many people as possible.

Effective date: July 7, 2026

Our commitment

PixelSunset LLC aims for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on www.pixelsunset.com. Accessibility is part of our build process, not an afterthought: it is reviewed when we design, when we write code, and when we ship.

What we build for

  • Semantic HTML with proper landmarks, headings, and labels, so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
  • Full keyboard operability, with visible focus indicators on every interactive element and a skip-to-content link.
  • Reduced motion support: visitors with a reduced-motion preference get a composed static scene instead of animation, never a broken or empty page.
  • The decorative 3D backdrop is hidden from assistive technology and dims as you scroll so text keeps its contrast.
  • The site renders its full content without JavaScript.
  • Form fields with programmatic labels, visible error messages tied to their inputs, and no time limits.

Known limitations

The animated hero scene is decorative and conveys no information; all content is available as text. Some abstract portfolio visuals are likewise decorative and marked as such. If we publish content that falls short anywhere else, we want to know.

Report a barrier

If any part of this site is hard to use with your assistive technology, or you spot an accessibility problem of any kind, email hello@pixelsunset.com with the page and what happened. We reply within two business days and prioritize fixes for anything that blocks access to content or the contact form.
